How to Add my Business Details?
In this section, we will show you how to add your business details
To add the details :
- Navigate and click on the left-hand menu labeled Settings
- Click on the sub-menu within the settings named details and add the information
- Your Skara ID, Business name, and Niche are already pre-filled.
Note - You cannot make any changes to the pre-filled details.
- Add your GST ID and Billing address
Support Contact Details
Here you can add details of your support team to provide a seamless experience to your subscribers.
To add the support details:
- Fill in the name of the contact person
- Add the support email
- Add the phone number
- Add the alternate number - This is the secondary phone number you can give if your users are unable to contact you with the primary number.
- Add the contact address
For adding the social media link to your profile:
- Click on the toggle button of Facebook
- Next, insert your facebook link on the box.
- You can do the same for Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube.
Legal Details
Having legal details is essential for any business because it allows for proper identification, verification, and legal accountability in various situations. It protects you from legal liability and ensures that you are compliant regulations.
The legal details are segmented into two parts:
- Terms of Services
- Privacy Policy
To add your terms of Service:
- Add your terms and conditions on the box
- You can edit the style of your text and do other formatting through the editing toolbar.
To add your Privacy Policy:
- Add your privacy policy on the box
- You can edit the style of your text and do other formatting through the editing toolbar.
Managing Team
You can add your team members and assign them roles based on their responsibilities. Adding a team member is essential for smooth communication between you and your team.
Important - You will already see yourself added as an admin there.
To add a team member -
- Click on the Add members.
- Next, add the name of the member you want to add and assign the role.
There are 3 roles - Administrator, Editor, and Viewer. (The admin role grants them access to everything and the invitation to the role will be sent to your members via email)
To remove a team member -
- Find the team member you want to remove
- Click on the remove button. You can even block them.
To delete the member:
- Click on the invitation button.
- Click on delete.
To edit the role of a member:
- Click on Invitation
- Click on Edit
Email Integration with Skara
Skara utilizes integrations with Sendgrid. It allows you to send email notifications to your subscribers, enabling them to create and manage email campaigns directly from your dashboard
How do I Generate my Sendgrid API Key ?
- Log in to your Sendgrid account
- Navigate to the setting on the left-navigation bar
- Select API Key
- Click on “Create API Key”. A new screen will appear.
- Provide a name for your API key
- Choose the desired access level (Full Access, Restricted Access, or Billing Access)
- Click “Create and View” to acess your newly generated API Key.
- Click "Create & View" to access your newly generated API key.
Make sure to copy it securely as it will only be displayed once for security reasons.
How do I connect my Sendgrid to Skara?
- In Skara, go to settings
- Click on the submenu email-integration
- Enter your E-mail ID
- Paste the Sengrid API key that you copied from Sendgrid
Plans
Here you can update and downgrade your subscription plan as per your convenience.
How do I Update my Subscription Plan -
- From your Skara dashboard, go to Settings
- Click on Plans
- Select the plan you want by clicking on Buy Now
- A new screen “Billing Address” will appear
- Add your main address in the address line 1
- Add another address or any additional details in the Address line 2
- Add your city name
- Add your state name
- Add your country
- Add your zip code
- Click on the submit button ( Your plan summary will be displayed on the page itself)
- Once clicking on the submit button you will be redirected to Razorpay
- Add your card details
- Enter submit
Your payment will be processed and your subscription plan will be updated.
Bills and Payments
Here you can track and access your bill payments and receipts.
To download the invoice:
- Click on settings
- Move on to the submenu Bills and Payments
- You will see the list of payments you have done
- Click on the invoice button of the payment you want
- Your invoice will be downloaded
